PRITCHET CANYON

Being one of the most technically challenging trails Moab has to offer, this ride is reserved for a select few whose machines are heavily modified and whose rock crawling skills are above average. This trail will test you and your machine to the limits, however the payoff is well worth it as you overcome each iconic obstacle.

TRAIL NOTES
Trail consists of rock; sand and considerable slickrock with many steps exceeding 30″. Steep inclines and declines are prevalent. Enhanced off road equipment is required including, machine minimum 64″ wide, tall tires (35″+ required), onboard spare tire and axles, winch, maximized vehicle ground clearance and suspension travel. Roll over and vehicle damage likely.

Directions to meet your guide: From Moab City Center, Head north on Main Street (HWY 191), and turn left at the light onto 500 north. Continue straight to the intersection at Kane Creek BLVD. Turn right at the stop sign onto Kane Creek Blvd and continue straight for approximately 5 miles. The Pritchet Canyon trailhead will be on the left at coordinates 38.53512, -109.59953.

Parking: Attendees are strongly encouraged to trailer to the parking lot There is ample parking at the Kane Creek Recreation parking lot located at coordinates  38.53281, -109.60079. However this lot will be shared by drivers for Pritchet Canyon, Cliff Hanger, and Chicken Corners. Pay attention to park facing south, and start parking at the north end of the lot to leave room for incoming and outgoing trucks and trailers. Please park next to the trailers that are already there and do not leave large spaces between trailers.
